A read-only Model Context Protocol server that lets an AI assistant explore a SQL Server schema, sample rows and read stored procedures without being able to change anything.
01What it does
It exposes a handful of read-only tools: list tables, describe a table, sample rows, list stored procedures and read a procedure's source. The assistant can look around a database, and it has no way to write to one.
02Why I built it
I built it in an afternoon to understand how MCP works. OpenTelemetry tracing is built in, so I can see what the assistant actually queries.
